We're happy to announce version 1.0.47 of Catapult Enhanced LMS.

This release includes some workflow improvements and bug fixes for Catapult LMS.

New Features

  • Not Applicable Warnings: We have now added a handy reminder that will remind trainers that when they mark a unit as "Not applicable", the system will prevent the learner from altering or entering in a new response. Please see this article for further details on marking and reverting "Not applicable" grades.
  • Bulk Due Date Setting: We have introduced the ability to bulk update Due Dates assigned to enrolments. Utilising the existing CSV Import functionality, administrators will now be able to update existing enrolments' due date. Please see this article for further details on our "Bulk Import Actions" optional system feature.
  • Purge Message Inbox: We have introduced functionality that will allow users to completely delete all messages in one of the message inbox tabs. This will allow users to stay on top of system and learner messages that they may receive. Please see the bottom of this article for details on the process.
  • Post Due Date Assessment Lockout option: We have created an optional system preference that will prevent learners from updating their assessments after they have exceeded the due date on an enrolment. This will allow organisations to better facilitate their students' learning journey. Please see this article for details on this optional workflow.
  • Pending Unit Review Indicator: We have added an additional identifier that lets administrators know that there are custom units pending review available in their library. Please see this article for details on the custom unit review process.

Improvements

  • Log in with email: We have expanded the log-in functionality to allow either email or username to be used when accessing the Catapult system.
  • In progress tag colour change: To assist clients with distinguishing between completed and in progress enrolment states, we have updated the colour coding of the in progress tag.
  • Improved page loading on slower connections: There were some visual artifacts that could be seen on windows that were small or on slower internet connections. We have rectified these to provide a more seamless visual experience.
  • CSV Enrolment Improvements: We have expanded the ability to enrol via CSV. Users will now be able to utilise pre-existing unit groups when enrolling via CSV to help create a more simplified experience when bulk enrolling learners into the same group of units.
