Catapult Collective: CPC resources

CPC is the construction training package within Catapult Collective. CPC resources combine online construction learning and assessment with supporting documents for learners, trainers, workplace observers and assessors.

Catapult Collective CPC units are currently available through Catapult LMS only. Supporting learner, trainer, observer and assessor documents can still be downloaded through the LMS.

CPC learning content

CPC resources organise online learning into topic areas aligned with the knowledge and skills required by the unit. Depending on the unit, content might cover construction documents, site requirements, materials, equipment, work practices and safety requirements.

Learners use that content before completing written, roleplay, knowledge and workplace assessment activities.

CPC assessment

CPC packages contain:

• Skills recognition
• Written activities
• Roleplay activities
• Knowledge questions
• Workplace tasks

The workplace tasks support file upload and video recording. The assessment conditions require work in a workplace or a close simulation of the workplace environment.

Documents in the package

CPC packages include supporting Word documents such as project specifications, registers, schedules, learner worksheets, trainer guidance, roleplay observation records and workplace assessment records. The exact documents reflect the requirements of the unit.

Open each document before delivery. Confirm which file belongs to the learner, trainer, workplace observer and assessor.

Mapping and assessor access

CPC resources contain embedded mapping data. Check the package for the current mapping presentation and any separate mapping files.

Assessor guidance and completed resources must remain unavailable to learners. Test the implemented permissions before enrolment.

Confirm for the CPC unit

Check the unit's topics, assessment activities, construction documents, worksite or simulation conditions, equipment, personal protective equipment, evidence methods and file set before delivery.
