Catapult Certify
Certify is a coordinated learning and assessment package for one nationally recognised unit of competency. It typically contains structured learning, formative knowledge checks, knowledge assessment, a practical assessment area, a downloadable practical assessment instrument and detailed mapping.
Certify resources link online content, practical instruments, assessor guidance and unit mapping. Additional evidence tools and templates, simulations, workplace evidence, logbooks and third-party observation requirements vary by unit and release.
Catapult V6
V6 combines online learning and assessment with downloadable evidence tools. Resources typically include knowledge assessment, a project activity and a project checklist, while practical assessment documents and specialist tools depend on the unit.
V6 resources can present assessment and mapping in different ways. Check the selected unit in Catapult LMS. Another V6 unit might look different.
Catapult V5
V5 provides Catapult-authored learning and assessment within Catapult LMS. Resources typically use topics, pages, images, formative checks, knowledge questions, performance-based activities, benchmarks and embedded mapping.
Much of the V5 working guidance, including mapping, is held inside the resource rather than in separate downloads. Check the unit and any supplied files before deciding how it will fit your trainers' workflow.
Catapult Collective
Catapult Collective units are currently available through Catapult LMS only. Workbooks and supporting learner or assessor documents can still be downloaded through the LMS.
Depending on the unit, FNS resources might use online content, activities, assessments, Excel workbooks, PDF references and assessor solutions.

- the training.gov.au training package, unit code, title and release
- learner content and assessment structure
- practical, workplace, simulation and observation requirements
- learner and assessor documents
- mapping and benchmark locations
- software, equipment, facilities, external links and submission methods
- the contextualisation and validation work your RTO will complete
