If your Catapult LMS account has the optional “limit submission attempts” function enabled, learners will be limited to a specified number of submissions. Once they have reached this number and their trainer returns to the unit to their control, the unit will have the Maximum submission attempts status, and the student will not be able to edit their responses or submit their work for marking.
Admin users (but not Trainer users) have the ability to allow an additional attempt for enrolments that have hit the submission limit. They can do so by following the steps below.
First, you will need to locate the enrolment. We recommend doing so using the Status filter, as shown below - or you can search for the learner’s name, if you know it. Either way, click on the unit’s code once you have located the enrolment (SITXCOM002 in this example).
Next, click Timeline on the side navigation menu, followed by the Allow an extra attempt button near the top of the Timeline. This will unlock the enrolment and allow the learner to amend their responses and submit the work to their trainer once more.
